Hello, fellow writers. I bring a piece of worrying news.

This website, http://fanfic-journal.com/, has been responsible for reposting our fanfiction works without any permission.  I hear that there's a bot on the site that takes posts that are publicly posted and with tags that go along the lines of fanfiction and reposts them automatically.

Writers, please go to this site and search your username or pen name or fanfic titles-yours might be in there.  Once you've found it, go to http://fanfic-journal.com/complain-here/to request your fic to be removed.

I don't get what these guys are trying to do, but stealing our fics without our permission is intolerable.

I think I didn't properly tag my posts in my previous fanfiction journal so the bot didn't get me. lol

I don't believe this is the only site doing it.  There might be others we do not know about, so writers, please stay alert!
